Landform contributes to saving Sickle Point

Landform Architecture joins many other community members and a generous family from Vancouver to successfully save this natural wetland from development. Landform has designed two waterfront homes adjacent to this natural area, and although they have observed and respected riparian setbacks, it’s also essential to have undeveloped waterfront to provide a range of habitats.

Committee organizers in Kaleden said of the achievement: "It would not have happened without pledges and the commitment and willingness of individuals to write letters, sign petitions, put up posters and green ribbons and share information with family and friends. We can all be very proud of this legacy!" Visit Penticton’s Castanet to read the full story, or watch a 5-minute video, Saving Sickle Point by Tempest Theatre.
